Hello, travelers! Welcome to Brazil Unboxed!
My name is Vanessa and I am so excited to guide you on a journey through Brazil’s hidden gems, rich culture, and breathtaking landscapes.
Since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by stories. I devoured books, made annual reading lists (yes, even at the age of 7!), and immersed myself in the worlds.
These stories allowed me to explore distant lands and meet fascinating people—all within the pages of a book.
This love for stories naturally evolved into a passion for travel. Growing up, most of my family trips revolved around exploring the stunning beaches of Brazil’s northeast.
Those early adventures ignited my curiosity for the world beyond.
When I turned 15, I had the chance to visit Disney World and New York—a dream come true! That trip solidified my desire to explore, and I promised myself that travel would always be a part of my life.
As I grew older, I followed a more traditional path, studying law in university. While I enjoyed reading and writing, I quickly realized that law wasn’t quite what I’d imagined.
The turning point came during a 9-month study exchange in Ireland. It was my first time living abroad, and it opened the door to countless unforgettable experiences.
After that, I knew travel wasn’t just something I loved—it was who I was.
I also realized that, although the world is incredible, no other country I’ve visited has the same amount of natural landscapes, food, impressive places, and diversity that Brazil has.
Still, many travelers don’t truly know us. At most, they visit the country for a few days, mainly seeing Rio de Janeiro.
Brazil is so much more. And that’s why we decided to create Brazil Unboxed. To show you that Brazil deserves to be one of the world’s top tourist destinations, and to showcase the countless things we have to offer.
Through Brazil Unboxed, we aim to tell Brazil’s story through travel tips, personalized itineraries, and cultural insights. Each destination has its own story to tell, and I want to help you uncover it.
